The family cimbalom band Ďusi Band core members are the father and his three sons, often accompanied by various guest musicians. The singer Anita Haffnerova and the Band sang the song Ara, more, khatar ma (Away You Go). The guest musicians of the Band were Roland Horvath - clarinet and Jakub Haffner - accordion and vocals.
The video was recorded in the framework of the internal project of documentation of the family cimbalom bands, in Presov, in 2022.

Ľubomír Gašpar

Mgr. art Ľubomír Gašpar comes from Detva, currently lives and works in Bratislava. He studied cimbalom at the Ján Levoslav Bella Conservatory in Banská Bystrica, later at the Ján Albrecht Music and Art Academy in Banská Štiavnica. Currently, he is a student at JAMU in Brno. In addition to being a professional musician, he also works as a music teacher at the Dezider Kardoš Private Conservatory in Topoľčany. His musical direction is multi-genre, combining elements of folklore, classical music and jazz. He is part of several musical groups, e.g. SOLE, Ľubomír Gašpar Cimbal Project, with which he recorded two albums: The Point Of View, which won the Rádio Heads Award for the best album in the World Music category in 2017, and Ľubozvuk (2021). He is also a permanent member of the group Manuša, with whom they released an album of the same name in 2022.

Vladimír Slávik

He comes from Banská Bystrica. He was taught about music by his grandfather, who himself played accordion and loved Romani music. He also is passionate about Romani music, he finds it his favourite. He plays in the bands from Horehronie Region - the Pokoš, the Haviars, the Gabriš.
He studied playing cimbalom in Elementary Music School in Banská Bystrica. He is a member of several folk groups. Currently, he is a student of the Jessenius Medical Faculty in Martin, Comenius University. If compared to Slovak folk music, the Romani folk music is more temperamental, more sensitive to music and harmony.

Ján Rigo

Ján Rigo comes from Bratislava. He attended the Folk Conservatory, he is a long-time musician playing the double-bass, currently as a freelance musician. He played together with many renowned musicians both in Slovakia as well as abroad. He is a guest musician performing with the bands Gipsy Way Ensemble, Gypsy Jazz SK (the music band lead by Ján Berky-Mrenica Jr.) and at the time of the recording he was a permanent member of the group Manuša, with which he released an album of the same name in 2022.

Elena Lacková - Let's Get Introduced (The Debate in Handlová)

The video is the archived material of the NGO Jekhetane-Spolu. Its content is the recorded debate of the writer Elena Lacková which took place in the Library in Handlová; this event being a part of the series of events named Let's Get Introduced. The original video is recorded on VHS tape, the digital version was made in 2002 through digitalization of the tape. Some parts of the debate in the original record are edited, hence the utterance of sentences isn't finished properly. The object is provided only for studying purposes and research of Elena Lacková. The author of the video isn't identified.
Elena Lacková was born on March 22, 1921 in Veľký Šariš. She is one of the most important Romani writer. She wrote fot both children and adult readers. She graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University in Prague (1970). She wrote prose as well as dramatic pieces. She was a lifelong activist and Romani advocate.

Ábel Ravasz

Ábel Ravasz is a sociologist and politician who specializes in minorities and regions. He graduated from universities in Hungary and USA with the degrees in political science, economics and sociology. He was one of the advisors in the Most-Híd – the political party after what he became the party nominee for the post of the Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Romani Communities. He held the post from 2016 to 2020. He is a co-founder of the Purt organization, the one which organises the Romani, Hungarian and Slovak activists. He also served as the Executive Director of the Matej Bel Institute. In the interview he speaks about the topics of extremism, poverty, segregation or inter-ethnical relations. He speaks about the active participation of the minorities in Slovakia, as well as about the mission and work of Matej Bel Institute.
