Colin Andrew Firth, CBE (born 10 September 1960, Grayshott, Hampshire, Great Britain) is an English actor. Well-known thanks to Miloš Forman´s movie Valmont or from the oscar movie English Patient or from the film adaptation of Bridget Jones´s Diary. In 2009 he was nominated for Oscar prize for his role in a film A single man.
