Marco Pillo - the musician, singer and composer. Originally graduated as a cimbalom player, later he added guitar playing. During his studies in Barcelona, Spain, he met the local Romani flamenco music culture which made large impact on his future musical creation. As a music guest of the author's reading event of Dusan Onody (reading from his book of poetry For You, Only for You) he performed as a guitar player and singer. The song Jessica is author made, music composed by Marco Pillo, lyrics written by Gejza Horvath (Brna, Czech Republic).

Jozef Cichý - My Journey To Fine Arts

Jozef Cichý (1966) - is a painter of the Romani origin from the village Nizny Zipov in the district of Trebisov. The vehicle mechanic by profession, devoted many of his years of life to painting exclusively. His artwork is mainly influenced by Salvador Dali, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarotti and Rafael Santi. He paints mostly with acrylic and oil colours on canvas or sololit. Several of his wall paintings are in churches and funeral houses. The main motives of his artwork are of sacral nature as well as family evironment, war and "romipen". In 90s of the past century he received award for painting in the Slovak competition of amateur art work in Trencin. Among the works of other Romani artists were his paintings exhibited in Poland, in the Museum of the Romani Culture in Brno, in Bratislava at the exhibition titled Heartprints at the Pallette of Romani Artists, in Presov, in Michalovce at the exhibition titled Romane cerchena (Romani Stars) or in Stropkov. Currently, his paintings can be seen in aproximately 30 villages in funeral houses and churches, exhibited in the Museum of Romani Culture in Brno and in other places both in Slovakia and abroad.

Women's Dance - The Romathan Entertains

Demonstration of Romathan Theater dance performance under the name Romathan Entertains. The dance was presented by members of the dance section of the theater during a performance in a cultural house in the village of Svinia. Dance with the typical Romani dance steps, combined with the variations from modern dances, creatively incorporated by the dancers into their own performances. Working with hands, shoulders, hips, the phenomenal use of secondary components, such as costumes, allfacture, or mimics and gestures, complete the aesthetic image of the performance.

Romathan in New Dress - Anitra's Dance

The 65th premiere of the Romathan Theater was arranged in "new dress". Music and dance performances alternated with traditional Romani halgato and songs. The Romathan Theater Orchestra performs special parts emphasizing the interconnections between various cultures in Europe. One of the Orchestra performances is the classical composition by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, Anitra's Dance. It is the incidental music composed in 1876 for the verse drama by Henrik Ibsen titled Peer Gynt. First staged in 02/1876 in Kristiania, nowadays Oslo in Norway.
