Jan Sajko paints the Romani motives on the wooden plates since 1986. He collects waste wood, preferably with some imperfections which determine the course of future painting. His most common motives are the faces of Romani women and girls, dances, musicians. The most used technique is tempera on wood.
Since the year 1986 Jan Sajko works as teacher of arts at Elementary School in Jarovnice.
The painting on wood, 35,5 cm (width) x 305 cm (height) x 2,5 cm (thick). The left part has a bark structure, the right part is wavy and smooth. The motive is the musicioan playing violin and two female dancers. Some parts of the wooden board are cracked. The right lower part displays some houses. The painting was created in 2010.

The painting is on wood with dimensions of 31 cm (width) x 31 cm (height) x 2,5 cm (thick). Upper and lower part of wooden board are trimmed evenly, left and right side are trimmed in the 45 degrees angle. The motive is the portrait of woman with rose in hair. On the left side, above her arm the houses are pictured. The painting was painted in 2012.
