The author of the instrumental composition called Hora di Mars is the Romanian composer of Roma origin Grigoraș Ionică Dinicu (April 3, 1889, Bucharest - March 28, 1949, Bucharest). In addition to composing music, he was also a violin virtuoso, which is reflected in the complexity of his compositions. In the interpretation of the Ďusi Band, the original arrangement of the composition is preserved. The composition completes the atmosphere of the scene in the audio dramatization of Martin Kukučín's short story Rysavá jalovica.
