M.A. Tomáš Hrustič, PhD. graduated from the Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Arts, Department of ethnology - religionistics. Since 2009 he works inInstitute of Ethnology Slovak Academy of Sciences as a researcher. His specialization is The Roma (Romistics), religiosity of the Roma, political participation of the Roma, popular religiosity, religious conversions. He is an author of many publications and articles, also co-author of a monograph Boh medzi bariérami (God among the barriers. The Possibilities of Social Inclusion of the Roma in Slovakia), awarded with a Prize of Ján Komorovský, for the best scientific publication in field of scientific studies of religion in 2011.
