Publikácia obsahuje skutočné príbehy riešenia sociálnych problémov, ktoré svojou prácou napísalo 13 sociálnych pracovníčok v konkrétnych slovenských obciach. Príbehy sa dotýkajú okolo stovky ľudí, ktorým bola poskytnutá účinná pomoc. Publikácia bola vydaná v roku 2007.

Komunitné plánovanie nám dá odpoveď na otázku ako veľa a aké sociálne služby treba vytvoriť, ako by mali byť v území rozmiestnené a aké ľudské, materiálne a finančné zdroje máme k dispozícii. Sú to veľmi dôležité odpovede, pretože v nich je okrem iného skrytá aj odpoveď na otázku, koľko nových pracovných miest a kde sa vytvorí.

The dulcimer music band "Oračkovci" comes from Holumnica, county Kežmarok. The members of a band are also the members of a family with a rich music tradition. Nowadays they perform primarily as a folk dulcimer music band in High Tatras. The dominant musical instruments are classical string folk instruments: violin, contrabass, which are complemented by accordion and dulcimer. Igor Pompa, the accordionist, sings the song Júlia, Júlia.

The painted portrait of Johann Trollmann - a boxer, painted by Romani artist Jozef Fečo, was created as an illustration for the article in Romano Nevo Ľil newspapers. The inspiration for the picture was a photograph. Painted on plasterboard with dimensions 35 cm (H) x 71 cm (W), in 2014. Johann Wilhelm Trollmann (1907 - 1943) was a German boxer who came from the Sinti Roma family. Trollmann was a German champion murdered by the Nazis in the concentration camp, during the World War II.

The Gypsy Jazz Festival 2015

The 4th year of the Gypsy Jazz Festival, which main organizer is a well-known musician - saxofon player, composer, band leader and promoter Miloslav Suchomel was held on February 2, 2015 in Bratislava at the theater Nová Scéna. Suchomel left behind the original festival form of individual concerts and the visitors were offered a comprehensive performance of his 30 members orchestra with jazz and string sections (the latter lead by the concert master of the Slovak National Theater, Arpád Patkoló), which gave place to several guest stars: the American singer Gail Anderson and the Romani singer Dotschy Reinhardt as the singing stars, followed by another American, a saxofon player Bill Evans. The styled Romani dance was performed by the dancers' group of Simona Horváthová. Music of the festival oscilated between the genres, mainly those of jazz, latino, oriental music and creations growing from the traditional Romani jazz. The festival was accompanied by the exhibition of fine art produced by academic painters Vladislav Zabel, Pavel Pokorný and Jozef Srna jr. The paintings were offered to the visitors for possible purchase.
