The traditional Romani song "Šude mange, šude tu", sung by Jozef Miko, accompanied by guitarist Jozef Dreveňák. Jozef Miko, alias Kopýtko (The Little Hoof) is a singer from Bardejov, part Poštárka. He is not only the tradicional Romani songs singer, but also a dancer and he teaches it on various events. Jozef Dreveňák is a traditional Romani songs singer and accompanying musician. The song language is an example of so-called demo language - in fact it has no sense. It is a combination of words rhytmically and melodically corresponding with a melody.

The Live Library Project: "Holocaust"

State Scientific Library Prešov, documentation and information centre of Romani cluture, realized four events within the project "Live Books (word - video - audio)" in 2015, the project granted by the Ministry of culture of Slovak republic. The purpose was to promote outstanding Romani personalities of culture and arts, who are almost unknown to the majority. The third of a series was dedicated to a theme of Romani Holocaust and it was hold on 24th August 2015 with a discussing guests - Lucia Segľová and Ľudovít Petík. The event was musically accompanied by a musician Miroslav Rác and a singer Žaneta Štipáková.

These three compositions were created as a tribute to the victims of Roma holocaust. Miroslav Rác, the Romani rapper who uses the stage name BG, tries to point on Romani victims of the II. World War, on people who had experienced suffering of the labour and concentration camps. Gypsy Devils - "Czardas" (Vittorio Monti)

The music group Gypsy Devils performed the classical song of an Italian somposer, a violinist and a conductor Vittorio Monti - "Csárdás" on the concert taking place in Prešov, in a former cinema Scala. The Gypsy Devils belong to the Romani bands playing on traditional string instruments, on cimbalom, and who attract all the age cathegories of the audience and also professionals by their daring musical creations and genres (jazz, ethno, flamenco)

The Author Reading - Dušan Onody, Marco Pillo

The Author Reading of Dušan Onody was recorded on 31st March 2014 on the Small Stage of Jonáš Záborský Theatre in Prešov. The presentation of a poetry collection, called Venované Tebe, len Tebe (Dedicated To You, Only To You) was accompanied by guitar music and singing of a musician Marco Pillo. He plays music mostly in the genre of flamenco. During the program he also played several traditional Romani songs in own flamenco style. At the end of this digital object we can see a musical improvisation of Marco Pillo together with a Duo Farsa band, where Dušan Onody is a member.

Stanislav Cina - speaking

M.A. Stanislav Cina graduated from the Faculty of Education on Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, his study programme was Education in primary school. He still is involved in pedagogy, as a college teacher, where he focuses mainly on Romani language. In 2008 he was among the signatories of the Romani language Standardization in Slovakia. He is an author of several publications for the teachers of socially disadvantaged children, textbooks for primary and secondary schools, many scientific articles and contributions in Slovak and foreign monographs and periodicals, conference proceedings, he is an co-author of Slovak-Romani and Romani-Slovak dictionary. At present he works at the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Government for Roma Communities in Prešov.
