A short story by the amateur woodcarver Ján Goroľ about the way to woodcarving. He worked as a locksmith, with no real desire to work with wood. He got to the craft workshop and carving thanks to the Fellowship of the Apostle Paul and the priest, Martin Mekel. In the video he talks about the connection between Christian religion and craft. In the video he also says that who can draw, can become a woodcarver as well. When drawing, the most difficult is to portray the eyes and nose properly. He also describes the work on specific works.
Ján Goroľ is a member of the gospel band LOND.
The story was created in 2013 during the documentation of the craft workshop ROMA ART Čičava. The sheltered workshop was established in 2012, initiated by Martin Mekel.
