Štefan Goroľ je pedagógom na Základnej škole v Jarovniciach, obci s najväčšou rómskou komunitou na Slovensku. V rozhovore sa venuje viacerým témam, medzi nimi aj kontradikcii medzi jeho etnickým pôvodom (rómsky) a výchovou a spôsobom života, keďže ako dieťa si ho adoptovala a vychovala rodina z majority. Pôsobenie v rómskej komunite preňho bolo vstupom do odlišného sveta.
