The Museum in Rimavská Sobota, the fifth oldest museum in Slovakia, was established in 1882. It maps the territory of the multicultural Gemer - Malohont, of which the Roma were a natural part. There has been an exposition of Romani culture since 1976. Here can be found a valuable publication titled Gypsies in Slovakia by Emília Horváthová, but also the album of Romani musicians published in Budapest in 1898, the second edition of 1927 contains a graphic of Cinka Panna and a biography of one of the most important Romani lead violinists - Márton Dombi, who came from Gemer.
