I. National Festival of Romani Culture

The invitation for the 1st National Festival of Romani Culture (Prešov, 3rd - 4th August 1991) was published by the Cultural Union of Romani nationality citizens of Slovakia, Prešov-based. It contains the speech of the organizing committee in Slovak and Romani language, the photographs, the illustrations, the poems, a fairy-tale, the event program and a Romani proverbs. Technical specifications: height: 205 mm, width: 102 mm, material: glossy paper, 13 pages, black and white.

Cold Touch of Lost Morning

Twenty selected poems written by Roman Goroľ create the content of the collection titled Cold Touch of Lost Morning, published by the State Scientific Library in Prešov in November 2016. Editorial work was carried by the employees of the documentation and information center of the Romani culture.
The author writes his poetry in Slovak language. Four poems were translated both in Romani and English language. The collection was illustrated by Martin Kaleja Januv.
The author Roman Goroľ was born in August 15, 1969 in Vranov nad Topľou as the second out of five children. He is married, the father of three sons, works as the teacher’s assistant at the Elementary School in Caklov, where he also lives. He received his bachelor’s title from the Pedagogical Faculty of the Presov University in Presov.

Ma bisteren / Do Not Forget

The information leaflet of the A3 format is folded three times and contains the information about the Romani Holokaust. The front page carries the photo of the the memorial place in Banska Bystrica, erected in 2005, the description of the project aims in Slovak, Romani and English languages. The content of the leaflet is in Slovak, Romani and English languages as well; contains the information about the position of Roma in Slovakia in the years 1939-1945. The last page contains the masthead providing information about the editors.

Horse for Love

The invitation for introduction of the book Horse for lav 2 (before Horse for Love 1, later Horse for Love 3) from the author Ladislav Tavali (1948-2012). The theme of the story is love and relationship between Roma and Slovaks. The author tells the life stories of the Psenicka and Mezga families. There are autobiographic features in the book, part of the story takes place in Sladkovicovo sugar refinery. His first book Strict Blood was published in 2007. In 2008 it was followed by the collection The Life of the Romani Children, in 2009 the book Shuko and Apolka was published.

The invitation for the VI. Regional Festival of Roma from South Zemplin. The invitation is full coloured, the surface is gloss-paint, displaying the illustration - a Romani woman sitting by the fire. The invitation size is 9.7 cm x 14.9 cm. The logos of the Festival sponsors are printed on the reverse side of the invitation. The event is organized by the Civic Association Nevo Drom (New Way) from the town of Michalovce.
