Stanislava Cicková is a member of the female music group LUNA, which comes from Martin. Sofiya Zahova

Sofiya Zahova is the director of the Vigdís International Centre for Multilingualism and Intercultural Understanding at the University of Iceland. The centre operates under the auspices of UNESCO and is an affiliated organisation of the Vigdís Finnbogadóttir Institute for Foreign Languages ​​at the University of Iceland. Sofiya Zahova is primarily dedicated to the study and research of Romani literature in Europe and is a member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She currently represents Iceland on the Steering Committee for the International Decade of Indigenous Languages ​​2022-2032.
