M.A. Jana Ambrózová PhD. is a college teacher, musician and a singer. She graduated from the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, study programme Ethnology and Ethnomusicology and she still is working there as a educator and researcher. She is focused on the issues of the traditional ensemble music in Slovakia and research of the playing styles of the musicians. As the first violinist she was playing in a folk ensemble Urpín from Banská Bystrica. She is also a part of Women singing groups Vranky from Nitra and Trnky from Banská Bystrica, folk ensemble Borievka from Banská Bystrica and also the member of experimental group NE:BO:DA:J. M.A. Jana Belišová, PhD. is an ethnologist and ethnomusicologist, her scientific research focuses on a music of ethnic minorities, Romani songs in Slovakia, applied ethnomusicology. Since 2010 she works in Institute of Musicology Slovak Academy of Science, as a researcher on department of Ethnomusicology. She is an author of several studies, mostly about the Romani songs and Romani music inSlovakia, she also wrote some monographs, of which the most famous is Phurikane giľa (Ancient Songs), or Neve Giľa (New Songs). Since 2009 he works inInstitute of Ethnology Slovak Academy of Sciences as a researcher. His specialization is The Roma (Romistics), religiosity of the Roma, political participation of the Roma, popular religiosity, religious conversions. He is an author of many publications and articles, also co-author of a monograph Boh medzi bariérami (God among the barriers. The Possibilities of Social Inclusion of the Roma in Slovakia), awarded with a Prize of Ján Komorovský, for the best scientific publication in field of scientific studies of religion in 2011. The dulcimer music band "Oračkovci" comes from Holumnica, county Kežmarok. The members of a band are also the members of a family with a rich music tradition. Nowadays they perform primarily as a folk dulcimer music band in High Tatras. The dominant musical instruments are classical string folk instruments: violin, contrabass, which are complemented by accordion and dulcimer. Igor Pompa, the accordionist, sings the song Júlia, Júlia.
