A short story by the amateur woodcarver Lukáš Jarka about the way to woodcarving.
Lukáš Jarka comes from the village of Čičava. He got to the craft shop for woodcarving through his father, who already worked there as a forman, as a trained carpenter. In his story telling, he compares his work to the work of his father. He says he is more careful about the details than his father. In the video, he describes the specific production process of the woodcarved artifacts.
The story was created in 2013 during the documentation of the craft workshop ROMA ART Čičava. The sheltered workshop was established in 2012, initiated by Martin Mekel.
