Peter Balogh Orchestra je hudobné teleso, ktoré vzniklo v roku 2017, zakladateľom a umeleckým šéfom je huslista Peter Balogh st. Členovia orchestra sú zo Slovenska a z Maďarska, koncertujú nielen na Slovensku, ale aj v rôznych krajinách Európy a Ázie. Repertoár orchestra zahŕňa široké spektrum žánrov, no hlavne filmovú hudbu, operetu, džez, slovenský a maďarský folklór a tzv. evergreeny.
Skladbu s názvom Februárová láska skomponoval maďarský skladateľ a huslista Járóka Sándor ml. Je to inštrumentálna skladba s výrazným husľovým sólom, prvkami rómskej hudby charakteristickej pre Maďarsko, obľúbená pre svoju emotívnu melódiu a virtuózne husľové pasáže.
Nahrávka vznikla 16.8.2023 v M Aréne v Prešove, je súčasťou dokumentácie rómskych cimbalových kapiel v rámci činnosti DICRK.

Ďusi Band Orchestra - C minor Hora Romanian

The family band Ďusi Band Orchestra is from Prešov. The core members of the band are Július Bandy and his three sons, often accompanied by various guest musicians. Besides playing the instrumental compositions, the band performs also songs, with both folk andre their own lyrics. Until now the Band released two CDs - Romaňi dzeka (Romani Mood) and Aven, mulatinas (Let's Have Fun). The audiovisual recording presents the composition C minor Hora Romanian. The guest musician is Roland Horvath, playing the clarinet.
The video was recorded in the framework of the internal project of documentation of the family cimbalom bands, in Presov, in 2022.

The family band called Ďusi Band consists of Július Bandy Sr. and his three sons Kristián, Július, and the youngest Samuel. The cimbalom band from Prešov presents the best tradition of the Romani cimbalom groups with the high interpretive art of their members as well as the scope and genre richness of their repertoire. It consists of folklore typically Romani but also Slovak and other nations‘ and nationalities‘, the band also plays classical music and does well in playing music of the genres such as jazz, pop or film tunes.
The performance of two Jewish melodies (the first with unknown name and origin, the second named Foolisch Freilich Dance) was recorded during the Living Book on the Holocaust event, in Prešov, on September 27, 2018.
