He studied Fine Arts and Russian language at the Faculty of Education at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. He took the post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Pedagogy at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra and received the title PaedDr. He does paintings and drawings, thematically is his work predominated by sacral themes, to a lesser extent by the female portraits and landscapes. As a pedagogue, he worked at primary, secondary and higher education institutions, some time he also spent at the State Educational Institute in Bratislava.
