The boy band Gipsy Chipsy formed in Bardeov, with four members. Their repertoir includes the traditional romani songs, shifted into the modern style. The modern style of singing is added with rap parts, the songs are sung in Slovak and Romani languages. In the video they speak about how they founded the band and what is their music creative process. The video was recorded in Bardejov, on 15.7.2013; the video is a document about creative work of the boy band. Igor Dužda

Igor Dužda was the first Romani editor of the Romani minority Broadcasting in Slovak Radio. He worked there for 17 years. He graduated from the University, his grandmother was a sister of the first Romani writer in former Czechoslovakia Elena Lacková. He also writes stories from the Romani environment as well as the Romani fairy-tales.

Zaneta Stipakova, an actress and singer in the Theater Romathan, sings the Romani folk song Romani Girl, accompanied by the professional pianist, a teacher at the elementary music schools, a composer and a Romani hip-hop performer Miroslav Rac, whose artistic pseudonym is BG. The song Romani Girls is a sort of anthem for the Roma in Slovakia, as it's lyrics express the hard life of Roma during the WWII and the Romani holokaust. The video was recorded on 24th of August, 2015 in Presov, at the event titled Live Book: word - picture - sound, organized by the State Research Library in Presov, as commemoration of the Romani holokaust.

In the video interview he is presented as a musician who is discovering the ways how to get attention of large audience, so that he can bring joy from Romani rhythms to as many people as it is possible. KATARINA TAIKON LANGHAMMER
She was born on July 29, 1932, Almby, Sweden. She was a Swedish Roma activist, leader of the civil rights movement, writer and actress, from the Roma group Kalderash. The sister of the jeweler Rosa Taikon. Through her political and media activity, she fought for the acquisition of civil rights for the Roma in Sweden. She managed to change the main stereotypical views of the major society through her literary work; between the years 1963 and 1980 she published 16 sequels of children's books about the Roma girl Katitzi. Her stories are still very popular, even films were made of them. Katarina Taikon, for her political activism, is often compared to Martin Luther King. She died on 30 December 1995, Ytterhogdal, Sweden.

CINKA PANNA
She was born in 1711 in Gemer, Hungarian Kingdom. A violin virtuoso, multi instrumentalist, lead violinist of a Romani band, composer, also called "Gypsy Sapfó". She came from a family of Romani musicians. She was tutored by the local nobleman Láni, who sponsored her study of music in Rožňava. Together with her husband Dányi, a cellist, she founded a band where she was both a lead violinist and a composer. She performed dressed in men's clothing, which had elements of a kuruc uniform. She wrote her works in the book Hungarian Collection in 1730. She is the author of short compositions - halgato. She died on February 5, 1772 in Gemer, Hungarian Kingdom.

TERA FABIANOVÁ
She was born on October 15, 1930 in Žiharec in Slovakia. A member of the older generation of Romani writers. Her talent was discovered by the Czech romist Milena Hübschmannová, who encouraged her to write in Romani. She debuted in the magazine Romano ľil in 1960s with her short stories. Her book Čavargoš /Wanderer (1992) belongs to the fantasy genre. It appealed to the general public in Czech Republic, therefore its audio version was made in Czech Radio, voiced by Vlastimil Brodský. The autobiographical work How I Went to School (1992) about a witty Romani girl attending school during 2nd World War is considered her masterpiece. In 2006 she received The Literary Award of Milena Hübschmannová for her live-long work. She died on March 22, 2007 in Prague, in Czech Republic.
