Riaditeľ občianskeho združenia Ara Art. Združenie vzniklo v roku 2013 a venuje sa organizovaniu kultúrnych podujatí, divadelných predstavení. David Tišer sa podieľal na založení pražskej galérie Phundrado vudar / Otvorené dvere. Venuje sa témam LGBT komunity. Spolupracoval na dokumentárnej tvorbe pre Českú televíziu, za účinkovanie v dokumentárnom predstavení Národného divadla Môj sused, môj nepriateľ, bol nominovaný na Cenu Alfréda Radoka v kategórii Talent 2011. V roku 2018 sa stal laureátom Ceny Múzea rómskej kultúry.
Fotografie vznikli v roku 2017 a v roku 2020.

Žaneta Štipáková

Žaneta Štipáková graduated from the Department of Music and Dramatic Art at the Secondary Art School in Košice, where she received her upper secondary education. She worked as a voice pedagogue at the Private Conservatory in Prague, as well as an assistant teacher at a primary school in Košice.
She is currently a member of the Romathan Theater Ensemble where she is acting, singing, also directing and writing her own dramas.

Romano jilo (The Romani Heart)

Selection of photographs from the presentation of a folklore ensemble for the purpose of documenting the field of Romani music.
The folklore ensemble Romano Jilo was founded in 2008, the leader of the ensemble is Peter Kačica. The ensemble was created with the aim of supporting and developing the talent of Romani children and youth. They perform at festivals in Slovakia, but also abroad.

Living Books - Ľoľi paradička (Red Tomato)

On November 15, 2019, the State Scientific Library in Prešov held again one of a series of live events on the occasion of the World Roma Language Day. This live book featured the film Ľoľi Paradička (Red Tomato), its authors, the actress in leading role and the music band, which were the authors of music in the film. The selection of photos is from this event. It includes: the director and screenwriter Richard Staviarsky, the producer Mária Staviarská, The Folk Music Band by Štefan Cína, the actress who played  the main heroine in the film,  Veronka - Kamila Mitrášová.

The Folk Music Band of Štefan Cína

The Folk Music Band of Štefan Cína is a musical ensemble composed of four musicians, founded in 2007. The founder was Štefan Cína Sr. Today the band consists of: Martina Ďuriková Cínová (violin, vocals), Štefan Cína Jr. (accordion, guitar, vocals), Štefan Vansač (dulcimer, vocals) and Peter Pavlík (double bass, vocals). Štefan Cína's folk music repertoire consists of traditional songs from all over Eastern Slovakia, but also Central Slovak and West Slovak songs. The photos were taken on November 15, 2019 at one of a series of events organized by the State Scientific Library in Prešov under the title "Living Books".

Kamila Mitrášová

Kamila Mitrášová is an actress. She comes from the village Bystré in the district of Vranov nad Topľou. She made her debut in the film made by Viťo Staviarský - Ľoľi paradička, in which she played the character of Veronika Rigová. With this acting role, she became well-known among the  Slovak and Czech film audience. In one of her interviews, she mentions that her mother registered her for an audition for this film. The photos were taken on November 15, 2019 at one of a series of events organized by the State Scientific Library in Prešov under the title "Living Books".

The Woodcarvers, Čičava Imrich Goroľ

The short story by amateur woodcarver Imrich Goroľ about his way to woodcarving.

Imrich Goroľ comes from the village of Soľ. He worked as a construction worker. He got to the woodcarving by accident. He is a member of the gospel band LOND. During one of their rehearsals in the Pastoral Centre in Čičava he met a woodcarver Milan Krajňák. He showed them various drawings and asked them whether they’d like to learn the craft of woodcarving. In the video he describes the process of making various works.

The story was created in 2013 during the documentation of the craft workshop ROMA ART Čičava. The sheltered workshop was established in 2012, initiated by Martin Mekel.

The Woodcarvers Juraj Goroľ

A short talk of the amateur woodcarver Juraj Goroľ, about his way to woodcarving.

Juraj Goroľ comes from the village Hlinné. He studied at two year vocational school of agriculture. In the video he emphasises the need of higher and sound education. He explaines how he came to work in the sheltered workshop. When he saw the work of the woodcarver Milan Krajňák, he liked it so much he decided to give it a try. He mostly does Christian themed works, mainly the face of Jesus or crucifixes.

The story was made in 2013 while the work of craft workshop ROMA ART Čičava was being documented. The sheltered workshop started in 2012, by the initiative of Martin Mekel.

Wedge by a Wedge

The photo shows a blacksmith's artifact called the Wedge by the Wedge. These are two metal wedges, connected by forging. The author is the artistic blacksmith Ivan Šarközy from the village Dunajská Lužná. The photos were taken during the European Roma Blacksmithing Symposium in 2014. The idea for the creation of this artifact arose from the proverb that says: the wedge is being wedged with a wedge.Ivan Sarkozy was born into the family with smithing ingrained in its history. In Dunajska Luzna he works in their family blacksmithery. His professional education is the ship mechanic, the profession he never worked in. He is fully dedicated to the smithing, especially smithcraft. His hobby is creation of iron sculptures made of iron scrap.

The photo shows a bird made of scrap metal. The author is the artistic blacksmith Ivan Šarközy from the village Dunajská Lužná. The photos were taken during the European Roma Blacksmith Symposium in 2014. The artistic blacksmith was thinking about how to use scrap metal. The first model was made of cardboard. The blacksmith creates similar artifacts from scrap metal.
