Šarlota Bottová is a graduate of the Secondary Vocational School in Rimavská Sobota, cosmetologist. She started to study fine arts during her studies at high school, where the subject of aesthetics is taught. In aesthetics classes she got acquainted with portraiture, and further improved herself as a self-taught artist, using resources available on the Internet and in professional literature. Her preferred technique is graphite pencil. In 2020, she also began working with color and continues to pursue portraiture.
In 2023, she received a grant from the Fund for the Promotion of Culture of National Minorities of the Slovak Republic to create a collection of paintings - portraits of Roma artists.
