Ako sa brániť (2004)

Hlavným zámerom pri príprave príručky bolo poskytnúť rodičom, príbuzným a občianskym aktivistom, ktorých trápi problém diskriminácie na školách informácie, ale najmä užitočné rady ako postupovať v konkrétnych prípadoch, kontakty na miesta, kde môžu získať ďalšie praktické informácie, či odbornú pomoc. Diskriminácia v školstve je problémom, v boji proti ktorému už dnes existuje množstvo prostriedkov a veľká šanca na nápravu v prípadoch, že sú tieto prostriedky správne použité. Príručka vypočítava a popisuje možnosti, ktoré je možno využiť na obranu pred diskrimináciou v školstve, v rámci platnej legislatívy. Zároveň ponúka praktické vzory podaní pri jednotlivých ochranných prostriedkoch. Dúfame, že naša publikácia pomôže meniť situáciu vo vzdelávaní v prospech znevýhodnených žiakov a študentov.

Tomáš Hrustič from the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava presents the publication Black and White Worlds / Roma in the Majority Society in Slovakia. Žaneta Štipáková sang this piece with a guitar accompaniment by Jozef Ferko at a meeting on the occasion of the World Roma Holocaust Day, as part of the Living Book project organized by the State Scientific Library in Prešov on August 24, 2016 in the Regional Museum in Hanušovce nad Topľou.

Zaneta Stipakova, singer and actress of the Romathan Theater, is behind the composition of the Romani ballad Kali Chercen/Dark Star. It is one of the slow-rhythm songs of the rom-pop genre. The song is part of a CD called Kaj te žav - Where Should I Go. The CD was released by the band Kali Chercen, in which the author was a guest singer at the time of its production (December 2007). Zaneta Stipakova sang this piece with a guitar accompaniment by Jozef Ferko at a meeting on the occasion of the World Roma Holocaust Day, within the project Living Book, organized by the State Scientific Library in Presov in August 24, 2016 in the  Museum of the Homeland History in Hanušovce nad Topľou.

In 1971, in Orpington, near London, the United Kingdom, at the First World Congress of the Roma, this song was recognized as the official anthem of the Roma nation. It was based on the motives of an old Balkan love song, the text is about the wandering of the Roma and suffering during the Second World War.
The text was written and the musical arrangement was made by the composer Žarko Jovanovič, a native of Yugoslavia, in 1949.

Michal Bársony - The Traditions of the Romani Handcrafts

Born in the village Kunova Teplica, the district of Roznava. The family spoke Hungarian, and kept the tradition of smithery and music. He graduated from the Pedagogical Faculty of Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, specialzed in fine arts and Russian language. The post-gradual studies completed at the Pedagogical Faculty of University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra, awarded with the title PeadDr. His main creation is painting and drawing, with prevailing themes of the sacral nature, as well as some women portraits and landscapes. As a pedagogue worked at several elementary and secondary schools, as well as at universities. He also worked for the State Institute Of Pedagogy.
