Šarlota Bottová is a graduate of the Secondary Vocational School in Rimavská Sobota, cosmetologist. She started to study fine arts during her studies at high school, where the subject of aesthetics is taught. In aesthetics classes she got acquainted with portraiture, and further improved herself as a self-taught artist, using resources available on the Internet and in professional literature. Her preferred technique is graphite pencil. In 2020, she also began working with color and continues to pursue portraiture.
In 2023, she received a grant from the Fund for the Promotion of Culture of National Minorities of the Slovak Republic to create a collection of paintings - portraits of Roma artists.

B.Sc. Roland Horváth, Dis.art was born in Rimavská Sobota. He comes from a musical family. He plays wind instruments. He received his first-level university degree at the Ján Albrecht Music and Art Academy in Banská Štiavnica. Since 2019, he has been the director of the Basic Art School in the village of Jesenské. He started his career as a musician in Hungary, where he played in several bands and with several important primas. After returning to Slovakia, he worked in the Romathan Theater in Košice. With the band Sendreiovci, he recorded the music for the film Sherlock Holmes - A Game of Shadows, which was released in 2012. As a clarinetist in Slovakia, he works in several cimbalom bands, and collaborates with the family band of Július Bandy from Prešov.

The organizer of the 4th annual conference The Current State of Roma Studies IV was the State Scientific Library in Prešov, the Documentation and Information Centre of Roma Culture. The co-organisers were the Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Roma Studies of the University of Prešov. The conference was held on 7 and 8 December, 2023 in five panels, with a total of 23 papers. The hybrid format allowed the participation of scientists from abroad.
The author presents the work of the organisation Forum for Human Rights with the focus on the project ROMANtici.
