Teri Čikoš comes from Bratislava based family of musician dedicated to music for generations already. She carries on and continues the tradition successfully. She plays the piano, guitar, she is a student of Music and Dramatic Arts at the Conservatory. In the same time she is a teacher of singing at the Elementary School of Arts. Her single titled Pozri (Look) achieved a place among top ten most played songs on Slovak radio stations. She gives concerts with her own music group, moderates and keeps making a well designed place for herself in the field of pop culture in Slovakia. In the video interview, she talks about her family, her beginnings as a singer, the discovery of her Roma identity, and plans for the future.

Miroslava Kiňová - Lacemaking

Miroslava Kiňová's from Prešov hobby is making lace. She learnt lacemaking from the well-known lacemaker Barbora Šimková, who specialized in Soľnobanská lace type and founded The Guild of Soľnobanská Lacemakers. There also Miroslava Kiňová learnt her technique of lacemaking. She prefers to create the coloured lace with the motifs that are most often associated with Christmas. Betlehem, stars and small fish made of lace, they are both decorations for the Christmas table as well as a nice gift.

Adriana Drafiová, known under the stage name Gitana, is a singer of Roma origin. As a performer, she has a strong vocal expression, performing mainly thedance and rom-pop music; currently expanding her profile as a music composer. In recent years, she recorded several successful collaborations with well-known artists of the mainstream Slovak and Czech music scene. Štefan Vavrek

Štefan Vavrek is a teacher by profession (mathematics and ethical education), a graduate of the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra. He taught in the town of Tornaľa. In 2007, he co-founded an association of mentors for Romani pupils called Tanoda, later he continued the educational activities in the Ternipe organization based in Rimavská Seč.
He started in politics at the local level as the mayor of Rimavská Seč, in 2018 he became a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic (The Slovak Parliament) for the political party Most-Híd. His main agenda was education and regional development. In the interview, he talks about political, national and personal topics.

Ľudovít Petík

Ľudovít Petík comes from well-known musical family, the members of which used to play and, simultaneously, do certain crafts. This stays with the family even today. She also sang a duet with Juraj Benetin, the lead singer of Korben Dallas, which is the opening song of Pixar's animated short film Lava from 2015.

Alexander Mušinka – The Svinia Project 3. Results and Closing of the Project.

Alexander Mušinka is a cultural anthropologist, an expert in Ruthenian-Ukrainian as well as in Romani issues. He studied ethnology and history at Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague. Since 1997, he has been working as a researcher at the University of Prešov in Prešov, currently at the Institute of Roma Studies, and is active in the non-governmental sector. He participated in many research, non-governmental and development projects related to Roma communities, especially in the Eastern Slovakia. He is the chairman of the Society for Research and Development of Minority Groups of the Slovak Republic - MINORITAS, the chairman of the Regional Center for Roma Issues in Prešov and he is also the vice-chairman of the Center for Anthropological Research in Prešov. His publishing activity, whether as author or co-author, is rich, resulting in dozens of publications, anthologies and scientific studies. The Svinia Project was a development project that began in 1998 in the Roma settlement of Svinia with Alexander Mušinka as its coordinator.The third part of the interview is focused on the changes and improvements of the environment within the settlement. What steps were taken towards solutions in the issues of drinking water, sewerage or housing.
