Oscar Wilde - The Picture of Dorian Gray
created: 20. 04. 2020 13:28 modified: 27. 11. 2020 01:47
The novel Portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde was a controversial work at the time of its creation (1890), which later becamethe subject of films or theater plays. The easier access of young people and adults to world literature motivated the creators ofaudio dramatization to process it in the Roma language. The dominant role in this drama plays a magical picture, a portrait ofthe main character of the story, Dorian Gray. The beautiful face in the picture gradually takes over the evil character traits ofDorian Gray, becoming the demon as Dorian Gray is in real life. This audio dramatization falls under horror genres, it isproduced in the Romani language. The aim of the editorial activities of ŠVK PO_DICRK in 2017 was to bring literature into thetarget group, transferring it from its written form to the verbal form. This goal was fulfilled by creating a series of audiodramatizations. Written by Bc. Roman Goroľ, pedagogical worker and writer. The cast consists of Romani secondary schoolsand university students.
