The composition Gypsy Dance is an adaptation of a folk song by Ján Gašpar Hrisko (June 14, 1921, Očová - June 13, 1980, Brno). J. G. Hrisko was a Slovak musician, dulcimer player, editor of folk songs of Romani origin. From 1948 he was a dulcimer player of SĽUK, from 1955 a member of the orchestra and soloist of the Brno Radio Orchestra of Folk Instruments in Czechoslovak Radio in Brno. The composition is played in the key of F minor and was created as background music for the audio dramatization Rysavá Jalovica by Martin Kukučín. At the beginning of the composition, the musical instrument dulcimer dominates, at the end, the violin takes the dominance over.
Július Bandy's folk band - Ďusi Band is based in Prešov. The members of the band are from a family where skills of musicians are passed down from generation to generation. Ing the band there is the father Július Bandy and his three sons - Kristián, Július, Samuel. They play dulcimer, double bass, violin and viola. Their repertoire includes Slovak and Roma folklore music as well as music of other national minorities - Jewish, Ruthenian, Hungarian, Russian. The band also performs film music. The family band was formed in 2013.

The author of the instrumental composition called Hora di Mars is the Romanian composer of Roma origin Grigoraș Ionică Dinicu (April 3, 1889, Bucharest - March 28, 1949, Bucharest). In addition to composing music, he was also a violin virtuoso, which is reflected in the complexity of his compositions. In the interpretation of the Ďusi Band, the original arrangement of the composition is preserved. The composition completes the atmosphere of the scene in the audio dramatization of Martin Kukučín's short story Rysavá jalovica.
